ANIMALS, ADAPTATIONS & CHARLES DARWIN TALK

DURATION:         1 HOUR

SUITABLE FOR:  ALL KEY STAGES

GROUP SIZE:      30 PUPILS MAX

If your latest topic is animals, adaptations, Charles Darwin, the world around us, interdependence... Indeed any topic that would benefit from meeting a wide variety of animals-right in your school hall - then this is the talk for you!

This talk is already replacing the 'mini-beast' topic in many schools.

Classification, Adaptation, Darwin, Evolution, Body parts and design, Habitats...

To Suit your topic the pupils will meet a huge variation of animals such as Zeus-the awesome Golden Eagle, Fizz the fastest animal on earth-a Peregrine Falcon to the 'copycat' Milksnake and amazing Gecko with it's superb adaptations (and utter cuteness!)

We will look at Gertrude the forest scorpion and Hissing Cockroaches too, but if they aren't quite right for you teachers, we will meet the wonderful and amazing blood sucking leeches... and many other amazing animals!

we will discuss habitats, adaptations, interdependence and much more-this talk will not only be tailored to your topic, but just as importantly, to your pupils age group. As always informative but fun too!

The pupils will be wowed by the Peregrines adaptations for super high speed flight, excited by the 'copycat' Milk Snake and it's bright colours, In awe of the giant stick insect and it's camouflage-and what it feels like to stroke! Imagine the information they will remember as they stroke Tiggy-the Hedgehog Tenrec.....

This talk will involve animals that in many cases we will meet face to face and be able to touch and stroke, so a maximum group size of 30, however 20 works even better as a maximum..
